An original fine art screen print of a butterfly pattern consisting of the British Comma and the Brimstone. A varied edition of one out of six limited hand printed screen prints.
A varied edition means there is differences between each print making each one unique. The Brimstone butterfly is a yellow or green depending on the sex, I therefore have some in the edition more yellow while others more green. The fading at the bottom also varies in each print.
Made up of four layers printed exactly on top of each other starting with yellow, red, blue and then black to produce all the different colours. This print is printed with fluorescent ink and with a UV light you can join in the butterfly world and see the ultra violet colours butterflies see or simply enjoy the print as it is.
