The Hunter’s Moon is Octobers full moon and is traditionally when hunters would have been most active, planning for the winter months ahead.

The Barn owl being a keen hunter who would use the silver full moon light in which to hunt is the reasoning behind the title.

Made up of five layers, one with a silver ink for the moon and a small lino cut stamp for bark detail printed on a grey green paper. Seeing this full moon is said to be associated with fortune and abundance.
